The farm
Our school is located on a five-acre private property with a hobby farm. The children spend time at the farm every school day. Some favorite activities are egg collecting, chicken snuggles, finding dandelion treats for the rabbits, hay bale jumping, going on hikes in the woods with the goats, finding abandoned feathers, raising baby animals, and feeding the animals.

Nature playscape
The nature playscape includes a water pump, fairy garden, sand boat, mud kitchen, lots of loose parts, and a vegetable and flower garden. Planting, tending and harvesting from our school gardens is another favorite activity. During the growing season we use the garden’s harvest to prepare our snack for the day.
